SoliTek Launches C&I Battery Energy Storage Solution SoliTek VEGA (BESS)

In response to fluctuating energy prices, rising electricity bills, and the increasing energy security risks, SoliTek is proud to announce the launch of its innovative Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy storage solution – SoliTek VEGA. Designed to provide businesses with greater energy independence, this battery system includes SoliTek’ smart energy control platform, and advanced EMS Software for maximum Savings. The European BESS market is set for steady growth, according to Solar Power Europe, reaching 22.4 GWh in 2024 (31% annual increase) and 78.1 GWh by 2028. Utility-scale batteries are expected to dominate, while C&I batteries will see significant growth, increasing their share by 13 percentage points.
Bloomberg NEF reports that the global energy storage market is projected to grow tenfold by 2035, reaching 228 GW (965 GWh). In 2024 alone, global storage installations surged by 76%, reaching a total of 69 GW/169 GWh, highlighting the critical role of energy storage in the transition to renewable energy.
This accelerating growth in energy storage highlights the urgent need for advanced solutions that store energy and optimize its use efficiently. SoliTek VEGA answers this need, offering a sophisticated energy management system tailored for commercial and industrial applications. SoliTek VEGA contains a comprehensive energy management system (EMS) that optimizes energy use, slashes costs, and ensures uninterrupted operations. The system is particularly ideal for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and retail spaces.
The new SoliTek VEGA high voltage battery utilizes safely Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery modules. These battery modules are manufactured by SoliTek’ automatic battery module production line in Vilnius, using high quality laser welded process between LFP cells. This technology is safer than other lithium-ion solar batteries, presenting minimal overheating and ignition risks. This innovation marks a significant advancement in battery safety standards.

VEGA connects to European wholesale electricity markets like NordPool and uses AI to track and analyze dynamic tariffs, charging up during off-peak hours when energy rates are lower and discharging during peak times to reduce energy costs significantly. This enables businesses to purchase energy at the lowest prices. This smart system adapts to the energy consumption patterns and solar power generation data of the company, optimizing battery usage for cost-effective energy management.
SoliTek VEGA acts as a dependable energy backup, ensuring that even during a power outage, business operations continue without interruption. With a transition speed of just 10 milliseconds to battery power, operations remain seamless, eliminating the need for noisy generators and unreliable power grids.
It also offers impressive scalability options, accommodating an in parallel connection of up to 20 VEGA battery cabinets, allowing up to 1 MWh of storage capacity. The inverters can also be linked in parallel (up to 10) to provide up to 500 kW of power. It can also seamlessly integrate with any Virtual Power Plant (VPP), optimizing energy utilization and sales based on demand, thus aiding in balancing the overall energy supply.
With the introduction of SoliTek VEGA C&I battery energy storage solution, SoliTek redefines industry benchmarks in the energy sector, delivering advanced and reliable EU-made solution that empower businesses to achieve energy independence and sustainability. Last year, SoliTek introduced its NOVA residential smart battery system. This new C&I BESS release is yet another proof of SoliTek’ dedication to European state-of-the-art engineering that meets the demands of the modern industrial ecosystem.
