SoliTek increases production volumes

SoliTek increases production volumes

Solar module manufacturer SoliTek has started working four shifts instead of three since 1 August and has recruited almost 30 additional employees. Part of the jobs are intended for citizens of Ukraine. Currently, 14 Ukrainians are already working for the company.

"This decision was taken in order to increase production volumes. Our capacity is completely sold out by the end of the summer and partly by the end of the year, so the company is investing in further expansion and automation. We are moving to a 24/7 operation in order to maximize our production capacity. This will not only help us to meet the ever-growing demand for solar power plants, but also to move towards more sustainable production, as unstoppable equipment consumes less energy than running them after a stop," says Julius Sakalauskas, CEO of SoliTek.

In addition to the traditional export markets where SoliTek's sales have been consistently growing - Sweden, Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands - this year the company has expanded its geography by entering the markets of Spain and Italy. At the end of April, the representative office of SoliTek was opened in Italy (Rome) - SoliTek Italia S.r.l. Certification procedures in the USA and France are scheduled to be completed by autumn, which will open these markets to SoliTek solar modules.
