SoliTek updates its EU-made modules with higher power and improved efficiency, allowing the same capacity with fewer panels. The upgrade supports streamlined installation and reduced balance-of-system needs, accompanied by a transition in glass technology. The higher power ratings allow increased energy generation from the same roof area without expanding the physical footprint of the installation.

A new solar-integrated noise barrier pilot has been completed along the E80 highway near Rome, adjacent to the ANAS Smart Road Center, incorporating high-efficiency bifacial photovoltaic modules supplied by SoliTek. The installation, developed by ANAS in cooperation with GSM Continental as the main contractor, demonstrates how sound-mitigation structures can also contribute to renewable energy generation.

Solar modules no longer have to be seen only as technical equipment placed on a roof or in a field. With the right product, they can become part of the architecture itself — creating shade, protecting spaces, generating electricity, and still allowing natural light to pass through.
This is where SoliTek’s SOLID Agro increased-transparency modules open new possibilities. Originally designed for agrivoltaic applications, these glass-glass modules are also a strong choice for architectural projects where full shade is not desired.
Whether you are a homeowner, an investor, or an installer, the durability of a solar module is often just as important as its efficiency. In the evolving solar market of 2026, glass has transitioned from being a mere protective cover to the very backbone of a module’s longevity.
Here is an overview of the current market trends regarding glass thickness and why the 3.2 mm double-glass configuration — especially when framed — is the premier choice for those who prioritize resilience.
A solar carport is one of the most efficient ways to utilize home or commercial space. It protects vehicles from the elements while turning an otherwise passive structure into a high-performance energy generator. However, unlike a traditional rooftop installation, a carport roof is often visible from below and faces specific structural requirements.
When selecting the right modules for your project, there are three primary technological paths to consider based on your aesthetic and functional needs.
