SoliTek Elevates EcoVadis Certification to Silver

SoliTek, proudly announces the upgrade of its EcoVadis certification from Bronze to Silver, underscoring its steadfast commitment to sustainable practices and corporate responsibility.

EcoVadis, a global authority in assessing sustainability performance for businesses worldwide, awards medals based on stringent evaluations of companies' environmental, social, and ethical initiatives. SoliTek's remarkable dedication and progress in these areas have earned the esteemed Silver certification.

To achieve the Silver rating, SoliTek surpassed stringent benchmarks, scoring between 59 and 69 out of 100 and securing a place among the top 25% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis. The company demonstrated exceptional performance across various sustainability themes, including Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, meeting stringent minimum score thresholds.

The journey towards attaining this elevated certification was marked by strategic initiatives and focused efforts by SoliTek. Notable steps included the implementation of fresh sustainable procurement criteria, comprehensive calculations of Scope 3 emissions, the introduction of approximately nine new environmental, social, and supplier policies, and the enforcement of a robust recycling strategy for end-of-life solar modules. Additionally, SoliTek diligently conducted supplier audits, resulting in actionable mitigation reports.
